Heritage
Regimental Heritage is a combination of tangible - physical artefacts and activities - and intangible attributes which are influenced and explained by history. It is a legacy forged by and inherited from past generations. It is captured in RHQ, battalions, our museums, chapels and beyond. It includes our property, chattels, dress, customs and traditions and customs. It is not a static, lifeless entity, but something to engage and inspires the present generation, and in turn be is developed by us to be handed on for the benefit of future generations and to inform, engage and inspire them in their turn.
Our Heritage is a therefore a cherished golden thread that links us with the past, informs today and guides us into the future. We rightly honour it, while living today, building on it and looking forward.
